Congratulations to our Hospitality students
Nine students from the Hospitality Department entered the Auckland Regional Culinary Fare on Saturday 23 June 2012. This is an annual competition held for students who are studying hospitality or the culinary arts. It is the first time National Technology Institute has entered this competition and we are delighted with the students’ results as all nine students won a medal. Read more >
Concordia Institute of Business rated "Highly Confident" by NZQA
We are very pleased to inform you that in the recent External Evaluation and Review (EER) by NZQA, Concordia achieved the best possible rating, scoring "Excellent" in each of the focus areas and overall achieving "Highly Confident" for both Educational Performance and Capability in Self Assessment.
In this comprehensive review, NZQA looked at the areas of student achievement, the value of outcomes for students and other stakeholders, programmes and activities, teaching, student guidance and support, and governance and management, and these were all rated excellent. Ntec is now in partnership with the College of Future Learning (FutureCOL) based in Hastings, Napier and Wairoa. FutureCOL has been in business since 1986 offering Computing, Business and Cookery programmes.
Nazli Effendi, Director of NTEC’s NZILD will serve as Director in FutureCOL together with Liddy Trotter, CEO. Both schools will operate separately but share knowledge on how the other can improve its operations.
