New Zealand Institute of Learning and Development (NZILD)

The New Zealand Institute of Learning and Development (NZILD) is one of the tertiary establishments owned by the National Tertiary Education Consortium (NTEC).

The vision for NZILD is that it will deliver to niche areas that meet the needs of academia and industry for both domestic and international purposes, thus taking a vocational and experiential approach to learning and development.  To realise this vision, NZILD delivers programmes and builds partnerships with domestic and international education institutions, creates industry links both domestically and internationally and collaborates with organisations that work towards building capacity by linking education, communities and industry.

Within the Ntec Consortium, NZILD seeks to act as the centre of expertise for building organisational capacity to facilitate effective learning and teaching.
NZILD delivers the following programmes:

National Certificate in Quality Management Level 4

National Certificate in Adult Education and Training Level 4

National Certificate in Adult Education and Training Level 5  

NZILD Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy Level 6
