Welcome to FutureCOL – The College of Future Learning NZ
College of Future Learning

FutureCOL has its main campus in Hastings, and is a unique private training College that provides an educational experience second to none. The College’s training supports students to achieve their goals and career aspirations.

By providing a training environment where students are taught by highly skilled industry tutors, using industry resources combined with the College’s employer network for work experience and employment opportunities, workplace skills and knowledge occur naturally so by completion of study, students have confidence and capability for employment in their chosen career. It is one thing for students to complete training that meets a qualification standard and another to have industry competency that meets employers' expectations of “hitting the ground running” at the  start of employment.

To add value to students' fee investment, some fee paying courses have included optional international examinations. Multiple qualifications ensure FutureCOL students have an added advantage when applying for employment in NZ or overseas by meeting standards sought by NZQA and industry partners.

FutureCOL courses include retraining options for mature students who wish to develop skills for a new career. Some courses have no fees so students will incur no student loan. For those keen for a fresh start, industry subjects supported by personal development content offer a package of learning and new prospects of New Zealand employment opportunities.

FutureCOL youth training covers elementary through to foundation industry skills for career experiences via high school STAR programmes or year-long TEC funded courses. Transferable skills gained through these courses ensure young students have every opportunity of selecting the right career path based on their experience.

FutureCOL takes great pride in delivering a wide range of holistic training and assessment options that support students to reach high, to follow career aspirations and choices that will make a better life for themselves and their community. Your success is our success and we support you in your efforts to make a better life for all.
